Google Galaxy Nexus Caught On Camera In The Wild, Then Leaked On The Web
The first live-action photo of the upcoming Google Galaxy Nexus has been leaked in Romania. A technology website called Mobilissimo has received a picture of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in its inbox from an anonymous tipster and by the looks of it, we have to say that it looks like the real deal. The picture is accompanied by a short video of the smartphone in action where we’ve noticed a couple of things.
Well, the Google Galaxy Nexus is running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, the OS which should unite smartphones and tablets alike, the design is similar to the Nexus S, however the four touch-based front buttons were replaced by three cooler touch buttons. Overall, the Google Galaxy Nexus looks better than its predecessor and you can tell the difference between the two devices, unlike the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.
According to the tipster, the Google Galaxy Nexus features a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 1750mAh battery. The back casing is made of plastic which is a very common thing for Samsung smartphones, but sadly there are no other details about the smartphone so we’re only left with the pleasure of seeing the handset in action.
Android Ice Cream Sandwich is said to be a joy to behold, and I’m sure the video below will be enough to convince you that Android will remain the leader on the smartphones market. Also it’s worth noting that there is no customization added on top of Android so no annoying TouchWiz UI for you, mister!
This phone is NOT the Google Nexus Prime, a lot of people are mistaking this phone for it.
